Serves 3
tbs = tablespoon (14g or 10ml) tsp = teaspoon (4g or 5ml)
Ingredients:
Base
- (50g) 4 x Good morning biscuits (can be replaced with digestive biscuits)
- 15g butter
Filling
- 4 x small granny smith apples
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp corn starch
- 2 tbs sugar
- 2 tsp lemon juice
Topping
- (50g) 4 x Good morning biscuits (can be replaced with digestive biscuits)
- 30g raw oats
- 20g almonds
- 20g butter
Steps:
Base
Smash the biscuits and pour the melted butter over it, mix it and press it down into 3 small serving dishes or 1 larger dish
Filling
Grate the apples and add all the other ingredients and mix. Spoon the mixture into the dishes on top of the biscuit base.
Topping
Smash the biscuits add the oats and chopped up almonds and pour the melted butter over it, mix. Spoon it on top of the apple mix.
Bake in the oven for 35 min at 180 degrees
Serve with rum and raison ice-cream (just a suggestion, it’s delicious)
